It's a shame the Doctor's currently deafened. Eva's obviously making loads of incredibly witty and cutting remarks that he's missing. And of course, there are so many of them that she'll hardly remember them later to recite them.
Such a pity.
"Can you hear me now?" She takes a seat on the log, rubbing the ankle she injured in her dramatic and quite stylish rescue. "I'm sorry about the gun, by the way. I can tell you're not fond of them."
She tucks her back into its holster, under her jacket, but not before blowing imaginary smoke away from the barrel.
"I just assumed you'd rather spend as little time tied up and at the mercy of an evil bush as possible." Eva, personally, would have hated that. The Doctor's already seen her tendency to panic when restrained. Even now she's rolling her hand over her knee, hardly even realizing how wed she is to motion itself. "And I hardly believe that's filled your quota for excitement today."
